Our commitment

East County Printing & Design wants everyone to be able to use this website, learn about our services and get in touch with us, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, voice control or other assistive technology.

The standard we follow

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, and we are working toward WCAG 2.2 Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content easier to use for people with a wide range of disabilities.

What we have done

• Every meaningful image has a text description.
• Pages use a clear, logical heading structure and page landmarks.
• Text and buttons meet recommended color-contrast levels.
• The site can be used with a keyboard alone, shows a visible focus outline, and has a “Skip to main content” link.
• Every field in our quote form has a visible label, and required fields are clearly marked.
• Pages adapt to phones and tablets and remain usable when text is enlarged to 200%.
• Nothing on the site flashes, auto-plays sound or moves on its own.

Known limitations

Some parts of the site come from third-party tools, such as the cookie-consent banner and the contact-form plugin. We test these, but we don’t control their code; if we find a problem, we report it to the provider and look for a workaround. Photos of printed samples are described in general terms; the fine print shown on those samples is not transcribed.

How we check

We review the site ourselves using automated accessibility testing tools together with manual checks of keyboard use, screen zoom and mobile layouts. We re-check whenever we make significant changes to the site.
